Today marked the sevent-th day, where we successfully weaned the kids off from their bottles.
Seven days ago, I told them that we misplaced the bottles, somewhere, and I know, that was a technical lie. We had restless nights at the beginning - considering a simple karma for committing the lie.
Alhamdulillah...things are getting better now. No more screaming in the middle of our night. Alhamdulillah.
I just wanna go back home, and throw the bottles, - for REAL!

I have been writing across various platforms under different pseudonyms: Tuan Caracol, Jangan Bersedih, Penulis Yang Tidak Dikenali, and most recently, Capybara Rocks in Copenhagen. In reality, each of these represents phases of my life journey. Now, at the age of 40, it's a particularly significant period, as even referenced in the Quran. So now, I want to take a moment to relax and enjoy the world. After all, they say life begins at 40, right?

Opss...I did it again.
The very moment I write here, I just figure out that Terminal can run Python commands; only by typing Python and enter it.
I started with Qiime, where I feel the need to learn Unix script, and it moved to Resfams, where I found the way to Python. Inevitably.
Thanks Molly for the bootcamp course on programming.

A promise.
I have been meaning to learn computer language - since I was 10 years old.
My dad bought a computer set from a bankrupt company - as a junk, and all I can remember about it was WordStar. My dad used to spend some of his time in front of the computer to update our family journal. He wrote about me, my siblings and mother or something related to what we had for lunch and diner.
I also remember that I need to key in few code - where I believe it known as script in our modern day - in order to play some un-fancy game, which I have forgotten its name. I was always fascinated on how I can simply change the background color of the interface by changing the code numbers.
It was a secondhand computer, and did not last for many years. After 2 years, everything when wrong, and we discard the set.
After many years, when I was 15, my friend introduced a new version of computer that promote easiness for me as end user, Window. I was kind of happy, as every keyboard command can be skipped by a single click.
When I was 17, I have been introduced with internet. Since then, saya bagaikan telah terlupa tentang asas komputer.
Sekarang, masa buat PhD, semua benda nak kena "kena tulis" sendiri. Baru padan muka nak kena belajar balik satu-satu.
So here is my promise. I will devote myself to learn Unix language for the sake of my PhD, and will learn Python afterward - probably after I finished my study.
Promise?
Yerp :)
